After 15 years as an editor and journalist, two years ago I switched to the world of trend forecasting, taking up the role of Global Chief Content Officer at business insight and trend forecasting company WGSN. We have 14 offices around the world, so I spend more than my fair share of time in airport lounges and hotels.
I love talking almost as much as I love editing
Before WGSN, I was the founding Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post UK, and an Editorial Director for the global brand. I’ve also held roles at Marie Claire, Glamour and Vogue.com, as well as contributing to The Guardian, Metro and various other papers and magazines.
During my time at HuffPost, I was named Editor of the Year at the Online Media Awards two years running, and Media Innovator of the Year at the British Media Awards. I was also included in The Drum’s Top 50 Female Innovators in Digital Journalism. In 2015, Management Today included me in its annual 35 Under 35 list.
I love talking almost as much as I love editing, and have appeared on Sky News, Newsnight, the Today programme, The Andrew Marr show and Lorraine. I’m also a contributor to Channel 4’s What Britain Buys series, and regularly pop up on stage at conferences like TedX, Cannes Lions and Web Summit, to name just a few.
